Chelmsford put on their best display of the season to record their fifth league win of the season and to continue their unbeaten start in the league.
Chelmsford scored six converted tries against Old Cooperians to win 42-5 and started impressively.
Paul Redford went over for the first try following a drive from a line-out with Ed Wild adding a second following a fine kick from Jordan Ayling.
David Hyett went over for a third try before the best try of the afternoon. The ball was fed wide and although Tom Taylor had no time to catch the ball he tipped it to Tom Acorn who ran around to score under the posts.
Further tries were scored by Tom Taylor, following up an excellent kick by Warren Woodward.
And it was Woodward who darted over to score the final try.
Chelmsford are not in London & SE Division London 3 Essex action next week but they travel to Thetford in the cup.
