CHELMSFORD Chieftains made it back-to-back wins in the National Ice Hockey League South 2 last weekend with triumphs over Haringey Huskies and Guildford Phoenix.

Chieftains beat the Huskies 9-3, with a treble from Courtney Grant the standout score.

Ross Brears scored three times in a 6-2 win the following day.

And coach Joe Wilson was pleased with the result.

“I thought we showed this weekend we are not to be pushed around especially on our ice.”
