CHELMSFORD will be the town with plenty of beer when the summer festival starts next week.
More than 350 real ales will be on sale at the event, in Admiral’s Park, which runs from Tuesday, July 13, until Saturday, July 17. The festival will be open from noon to 11pm each day.
If beer is not to your taste, there is the pick of 120 ciders and perries, Belgian beer and local wine.
Evening entertainment will be provided and on Saturday, there is a family fun day until 6pm, with a fun fair and a giant inflatable slide.
Entrance is free to Camra members and non members get in free until 6pm. After that, it is £4 Tuesday to Thursday, £5 Friday and £3 Saturday.
