ENJOY an evening of comedy and help a charity as well. The Comedy Club at Chelmsford’s Waterfront Place will be the stage for three top comedians on Thursday, June 24.
Many of the acts managed by the Comedy Club perform for the armed forces across across the world. A collection will be held on the night in aid of Armed Forces Day on June 26.
Master of ceremonies is Dave Twentyman.
He is a rising star of north west comedy. Hailing from the town of St Helens, his tales of home, work and the universe are delivered in a stream of consciousness.
He recently won the St Helens Comedian of the Year competition and was tipped to follow the success of fellow St Helens comic Johnny Vegas.
Opening act is Chris McCausland. As a graduate he ended up in a call centre for three-and-a-half years. Now he describes himself as a comedian, comedy writer and actor.
Headlining is Colin Cole. A familiar face to fans of Australian TV, the versatile comic actor’s TV credits read like a guide to Australian television.
