A NURSING home in Chelmsford had a visit from schoolchildren who planted crops for the residents.
The community crop garden is at Admirals Reach nursing home, in Ridgewell Avenue. The youngsters, from St Cedds School, went to the home to plant the fruit and vegetables.
The home is run by Bupa, and the initiative aims to promote the health benefits of growing your own fruit and vegetables, which the residents enjoy by taking part in the planting, watching them grow and being able to taste and enjoy them.
