IT will be lovely. That is what Springers is hoping people will think when they see its production of My Fair Lady at the Chelmsford Civic Theatre.
The amateur group will be staging a production of the timeless musical from June 15 to June 19.
It will, of course, feature much-loved songs including I Could Have Danced All Night, On the Street Where you Live and I’m Getting Married in the Morning, while it follows the rags-to-riches tale of Eliza Doolittle’s transformation from Cockney flower girl to society lady and her stormy relationship with Professor Henry Higgins.
The cast is headed by Olivia Gooding in the title role and Anver Anderson as Higgins. It is directed by Jacqui Tear.
The production starts at 7.30pm with a Saturday matinee at 3pm. Tickets are available at the box office on 01245 606505.
