By: Denise Rigby CHELMSFORD has become a transition town.
And to find out what it is all about you can visit the Big Green Bus on Saturday. The transition network started in Devon in 2006 and has rapidly grown. It is a global movement responding to concern that the UK is running out of natural resources.
In Chelmsford, a group of like-minded people came together under the ‘Changing Chelmsford’ initiative and in eight months has spearheaded ‘Transition Chelmsford’ which became affiliated to the national Transition Network at the beginning of Climate Week on March 21.
Visit Transition Chelmsford on the Big Green Bus at the town sign in the High Street.
