Notice is hereby given that under Sections 23 and 25 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the Essex County Council proposes to establish a Zebra Crossing on the following length of Beehive Lane, Great Baddow in the Borough of Chelmsford located as follows:-

Description
The centre line of the crossing will be located approximately 35 metres south west of the centre of the junction with Duffield Road.

Further details: A statement of reasons and plan indicating the location of the proposed crossing may be examined during normal office hours at Environment Sustainability & Highways, County Hall, Chelmsford; Chelmsford Borough Council, Civic Centre, Duke Street, Chelmsford; and at Chelmsford Library, Market Road, Chelmsford.

(Wickford Road, South Woodham Ferrers/ Rettendon and Woodham Road, Rettendon) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2012

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order:
To temporarily close the following lengths of road in South Woodham Ferrers/Rettendon:

Wickford Road, South Woodham Ferrers/Rettendon
From its junction with A132 Burnham Road, southwest, for a distance of approximately 450.56 metres, to its meeting with Woodham Road, its entire length.

Woodham Road, Rettendon
From its junction with Main Road (Rettendon Turnpike), to its meeting with Wickford Road, a distance of approximately 3,370.49 metres, its entire length.

The closures are scheduled to commence on 23 January 2012 for 10 days between the hours of 07:00 and 17:00, weather permitting, or where appropriate signs are showing, and is required for the safety of the public and workforce while carriageway machine in-lay patching works are undertaken.

Access for emergency vehicles and pedestrians will be maintained at all times during the closure.

The alternative route will be via A132 Burnham Road.
The Order will come into effect on 23 January 2012 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Gunson Gate, Chelmsford) (Bus Gate) Order 20**

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council proposes to make the above Order under Sections 1(1), 2(1) to (3), 3(2) and Part Ill of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To prohibit vehicles except Buses, Taxis, Motorcycles and Pedal Cycles from proceeding in the following length of road in Chelmsford:

Gunson Gate, Chelmsford
From a point approximately 40 metres northeast of its junction with Gloucester Avenue, northeast, for a distance of approximately 23 metres. The restriction will be enforced in both directions 24hrs a day 7 days a week.

Further details: A copy of the draft Order, a map illustrating the proposal and a Statement of Reasons may be examined at all reasonable hours at Environment, Sustainability & Highways, County Hall, Chelmsford; Chelmsford Borough Council, Civic Centre, Duke Street, Chelmsford and at Chelmsford Library, Market Road, Chelmsford.

Proposed Zebra Crossing - Linnet Drive, Chelmsford

Notice is hereby given that Essex County Council proposes to install a Zebra Crossing on Linnet Drive, in the Borough of Chelmsford, under Section 23 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The centre line of the crossing will be at a point approximately 21 metres northwest of the centre of its junction with Plane Tree Close.

Further details: A statement of reasons and a plan indicating the location of the proposed crossing may be examined during normal office hours at Environment, Sustainability & Highways, County Hall, Chelmsford; Chelmsford Borough Council, Civic Centre, Duke Street, Chelmsford and at Chelmsford Library, Market Road, Chelmsford.
