Essex County Council (Main Road, Bicknacre) and (Spring Elms Lane, Little Beddow)

(Main Road, Bicknacre) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2012

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close Main Road, Bicknacre, in the Borough of Chelmsford, from Priory Corner, to its junction with Lodge Road.

The closure is scheduled to commence on 9 January 2012 for 5 weeks between the hours of 09:00 and 15:00 and on 14 February 2012 for 4 nights between the hours of 19:00 and 06:00, weather permitting, or where appropriate signs are showing, and is required for the safety of the public and workforce while footway, kerbing and carriageway resurfacing works are undertaken.
Access for emergency vehicles and pedestrians will be maintained at all times during the closure.
The alternative route will be via B1418 Main Road, B1012 Burnham Road, B1012 Lower Burnham Road, B1010 Fambridge Road, B1010 Chelmsford Road, B1418 Hyde Lane, B1418 Elm Road and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 9 January 2012 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Spring Elms Lane, Little Beddow) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2012

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close Spring Elms Lane, Little Baddow, from a point 600 metres east of its junction with Mill Lane, east, for a distance of approximately 200 metres.
The closure is scheduled to commence on 9 January 2012 for 1 day between the hours of 09:30 and 15:30, weather permitting, or where appropriate signs are showing, and is required for the safety of the public and workforce while BT replace poles and cables.
Access for emergency vehicles and pedestrians will be maintained at all times during the closure.
The alternative route will be via The Ridge, North Hill, Tofts Chase, Bassetts Lane and vice versa.

The Order will come into effect on 9 January 2012 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
