(Hullbridge Road, South Woodham Ferrers)
(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2012

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Hullbridge Road, South Woodham Ferrers in the Borough of Chelmsford, for a distance of 20 metres either side of South Woodham Ferrers Level Crossing.

The closure is scheduled to commence on 12 February 2012 for 1 day between the hours of 08:00 hours and 20:00 hours or where appropriate signs are showing and weather permitting.

The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while works on the overhead lines at the level crossing are undertaken.

The alternative route will be via Hullbridge Road - Clements Green Lane - Inchbonnie Road - Ferrers Road - Burnham Road - A132 -Burnham Road - B1012 - Hullbridge Road and vice versa.

Access for emergency service vehicles and pedestrians will be maintained at all times during the closure.

The Order will come into effect on 12 February 2012 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(3 Tonne Weight Restriction) Order 2012

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Sections 1-4 and Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To introduce a 3 Tonne Weight Restriction on Bundocks Bridge, Sandford Mill Road, Springfield, in the Borough of Chelmsford, from a point approximately 130 metres west of its junction with Brook End Road, northwest, for a distance of approximately 15 metres.

The Chelmsford Borough Council The Borough of Chelmsford (Bundocks Bridge, Sandford Mill Road, Springfield) (Prohibition of Heavy Commercial Vehicles Exceeding 6 Tonnes Maximum Gross Weight on One Axle) Order 1990 also cited as The Borough of Chelmsford (Bundocks Bridge, Springfield) (Prohibition of Heavy Commercial vehicles Exceeding 6 Tonnes Maximum Gross Weight) Order 1990 is hereby revoked.

Date of operation: The Order will come into operation on 10 February 2012.

Further details: A copy of the Order and plans may be examined during normal office hours at Environment Sustainability and Highways, County Hall, Chelmsford.

Application to the High Court: Anyone who wishes to question the validity of the Order or any provision contained in it on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or on the grounds that any requirement of the Act, or any instrument made under it, has not been complied with in relation to the Order, may within six weeks from the date of the making of the Order apply to the High Court for this purpose.

(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2012

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close Graces Lane, Little Baddow/ Danbury, in the Borough of Chelmsford, from its junction with Riffhams Lane, west, for a distance of approximately 700 metres.

The closure is scheduled to commence on 20 February 2012 for 3 days between the hours of 09:30 and 15:30, weather permitting, or where appropriate signs are showing, and is required for the safety of the public and workforce while BT undertake overhead cabling works.

Access for emergency vehicles and pedestrians will be maintained at all times during the closure.

The alternative route will be via Riffhams Chase, North Hill, Colham Lane, Chapel Lane New Lodge Chase and vice versa.

The Order will come into effect on 20 February 2012 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
