Notice is hereby given under Section 90C of the Highways Act 1980 that Essex County Council intends to introduce two speed humps on Ockleford Avenue, Chelmsford and that Essex County Council proposes to commence construction of a footway/ cycleway at the below location under highway improvement powers given by Section 65 of the Highways Act 1980:

North Avenue, Chelmsford - Western Footway Shared Use 2.5m wide, from its junction with Kings Avenue, to its junction with Partridge Avenue, a distance of approximately 565 metres.
Speed Humps - Ockleford Avenue, Chelmsford
The humps will be sited as follows and will be 100 millimetres high and 4.5 metres in length and span the entire width of the carriageway: (I) At its southern junction with North Avenue. (i) At its northern junction with North Avenue
Further details: A plan indicating the location of the footway/cycleway/humps and statement of reasons may be examined at Environment, Sustainability & Highways, County Hall, Chelmsford; Chelmsford Borough Council, Civic Centre, Duke Street, Chelmsford and at Chelmsford Library, Market Road, Chelmsford.
