(Upper Bridge Road, Chelmsford)
(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2012

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Upper Bridge Road in the Borough of Chelmsford, from its junction with Bradford Street, south towards Writtle Road for a 50 metres section moving down in stages over 500 metres. The closure is scheduled to commence on 3 February 2012 for 8 weeks or where appropriate signs are showing and weather permitting.

The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while Gas main renewal works are undertaken. The alternative route will be via: Upper Bridge Road Southbound: Upper Bridge Road left into Bradford Street right into Lower Anchor Street right into New London Road right into Writtle Road right into Cherry Garden Lane into Upper Bridge Road. Diversion ends Upper Bridge Northbound: Upper Bridge Road into Cherry Garden Lane left into Writtle Road left into New London Road left into Lower Anchor Street Left into Bradford Street. Upper Bridge Road Diversion Ends. Access for emergency service vehicles and pedestrians will be maintained at all times during the closure. The Order will come into effect on 3 February 2012 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Hullbridge Road, South Woodham Ferrers) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2012

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Hullbridge Road, South Woodham Ferrers in the Borough of Chelmsford, for a distance of 20 metres either side of South Woodham Ferrers Level Crossing. The closure is scheduled to commence on 12 February 2012 for 1 day between the hours of 08:00 hours and 20:00 hours or where appropriate signs are showing and weather permitting. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while works on the overhead lines at the level crossing are undertaken. The alternative route will be via Hullbridge Road - Clements Green Lane - Inchbonnie Road - Ferrers Road - Burnham Road - A132 -Burnham Road - B1012 - Hullbridge Road and vice versa. Access for emergency service vehicles and pedestrians will be maintained at all times during the closure. The Order will come into effect on 12 February 2012 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
